Springing into LEAF

At this weekend's Lake Eden Arts Festival, our family had a fantastic time - as usual.  We usually go to LEAF in October, but decided to try the Spring version this time around.  The Kid's Village was great - a bouncing good time on the EuroBungy apparatus, awe-inspiring flips and flops on the trapeze trainer, a melange of miscellaneous activities on the tennis courts and a bunch of terrific acts on the stage (check out The 3 Dudes, Secret Agent 23Skidoo, Forty Fingers and a Missing Tooth and Sara Lee Guthrie and Johnny Irion among others).

Even the rain did nothing to dampen the mood.  Our two boys made the best of the scattered showers by dancing in the rain and mud on Saturday - this required the use of quite a few baby wipes, since the boys were in no mood to shower by the time we were headed back up to our tent.

We made lots of new friends this weekend.  We camped near a bunch of really friendly people and met tons of great new friends while walking around, playing in the Kid's Village, eating/snacking at various picnic tables, learning how to drum or dancing to the music.  We even met one new friend while waiting in line to try an adventurous new activity -> Cooper's new friend, Giselle, joined us whilst ZIPLINING:
