First Camping Trip

When Mommy asked Daddy what he wanted to do to celebrate his 40th birthday, I wasn't surprised to hear him say "Let's go camping.". So we called Daddy's college buddy, Rich, to see if he, his wife (also Lisa) and their daughter Ariel wanted to join us - this would also be Ariel's first camping trip. After much detailed (ha!) planning on Daddy's part, the six of us (and our canine companions Sugar and Mesa) met at James River State Park near Gladstone, VA. Despite rain on Saturday night after we went to bed, we had a great time. I'll let the pictures do the talking...
