St. Nick

Mommy's family observes a little pre-Christmas tradition that I've found to be quite appealing. It's called Saint Nick and here's the deal:

On the night of December 5th, you place your shoe (or rain boot as the case may be) near the fireplace. While you are sleeping, St. Nick uses Santa's favorite avenue into your house and fills your shoe/boot with goodies.

On the morning of December 6th, your shoe is chock full of fun things like books, Pez dispensers and a singing Elmo.

And maybe even a DVD about how Elmo saves Christmas. Yippee!
