Raleigh Christmas Parade 1
You've got to dress warm when it's November and you are getting ready for 2 and 1/2 hours of the Raleigh Christmas Parade (I think the Thanksgiving Parade was sometime back in March...).
This is how I watched a majority of the parade. I had a great view of the marching bands, the floats, the giant balloons and all the dancing girls.

Mommy's hair makes a great handle when you are sitting on her shoulders. Daddy's hair is harder to hold on to, so I usually grab his ears - no problem finding and holding onto those!

Popi's Visit
Popi came to visit this week and we had a great time. Popi even went shopping with me and we came home with some really neat toys, like the bright blue truck below.

Tonight we went up to Cameron Village for their annual Holiday tune-up. There were lots of carolers, walking toy soldiers, cookies & cider, musicians and even Santa was there (the line was too long to stand in at dinnertime - when this boy's gotta eat, he's GOTTA eat). Like I said, there was a lot going on.
In some areas, however, it was hard to concentrate on the holiday stuff...

First Trip to The Outer Banks
Here's Sugar showing you the view from our deck. Yup, that's the ocean behind her. Not bad, eh?
Why am I inside when it's sunny outside???
Here I am showing Mommy how to correctly walk Sugar - note the slack leash. My doggie knows who's in charge...
Of course, I can always take time from walking the doggie to pose with Mommy!
The "beach" pictures above were actually taken atop Jockey's Ridge, the tallest sand dune in the Eastern US. Lots of people were flying kites and some were even hang gliding. Out on the sound we saw a bunch of kiteboarders. Remind me to come back here once I learn how to walk!

I think we hit the jackpot with this picture - great job, Grandpa!
Two weekends ago we joined Grandpa and Grandma for a trip to the Carnivore Preservation Trust. This was a really neat place with all kinds of big cats. They're not quite as cute as little Bacchus, but I have to admit they were pretty impressive.
Once again, we have to thank Grandpa for some great photos!
