Lending A Helping Hand

Mommy and Daddy did a little cleaning and organizing around the house this weekend. And I helped!
Bookcase cleaning is my specialty - it only takes me a second to clear things out.

Trick or Treat

All dressed up and ready to go. I can't wait to Trick or Treat tomorrow night!

Fun Around The House

Mommy dresses me nice and warm for an early morning run.
Daddy and I play around at home between daycare and dinner.
Who says only one end of the spatula tastes good?
Sometimes I help Daddy get dinner ready. Note my official Chef-issue Nerfball - it makes dinner preparation a snap.
I even help keep the kitchen safe.

"Daddy, why is your hair on fire?"

Strip Tease

Helloooo ladies!!! This is the one you've been waiting for...
OK, nothing untoward going on here, it's just bathtime and bedtime.
You gotta admit, though, the kid's pretty cute.
Time to get all baby-soft and ready for bed. See you around.

Camolicious

Camolicious is a word Mommy made up last week, but I think it pretty much describes yours truly in these pictures. What do you think?

Daddy's Company Picnic

Here we are, ready to see what the Talecris company picnic has to offer.
We found out that there were all sorts of things to do. We watched the jump-rope team from Durham for a while (http://www.bouncingbulldogs.org/). Then we had our picture taken and the nice people there made a keychain out of it. After a quick snack of funnel cake, we thought we'd go over and see the kids who were lucky enough to go on the pony rides. We watched for a little while and then Mommy had a great idea. If the other kids could do it, why not me? She's brilliant, that Mommy!
The Kid's a natural!

Cooper the Cowboy riding tall in the saddle.

Lunch break for the bucking bronco.

The girls can't keep their eyes off the cute cowpoke.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention my horse's name: Sugar (really!)

Gymboree

The structured part of our class is OK, but I really like the part where I get to climb on whatever I want. Another good thing is that I don't have to compete with Sugar and Bacchus for the plastic balls.
Here I can climb on ALL the furniture!
Mommy and I always have a good time in class. Even she gets to climb on the furniture. Comin' right at ya!

While Mommy Was Out

Hello out there! Glad to see you again. Mommy is out walking Sugar, so Daddy and I decided to post a stealth entry. Hope you like it. Hi Mom!
Sugar likes the tunnel almost as much as I do!

Made it through - no problem.

Just hanging around the back room, helping Daddy with a couple of projects around the house.

Since Mommy is out walking Sugar, I think I'll call this one, "Look Ma, no hands!". I haven't quite gotten to the walking stage yet, but I'm getting close...

Playtime

Sometimes you just gotta smile!

Our first trip to Play Space. It's hard to figure out whether one should play with the toys or climb on the big cushions - so I just do both.

Knocking the block off.

Here's looking at you, kid.

Camping - Part II

All ready to "Take A Hike"
Just hanging out, ready to eat!

See, told you I was ready to take a hike.

First Camping Trip

When Mommy asked Daddy what he wanted to do to celebrate his 40th birthday, I wasn't surprised to hear him say "Let's go camping.". So we called Daddy's college buddy, Rich, to see if he, his wife (also Lisa) and their daughter Ariel wanted to join us - this would also be Ariel's first camping trip. After much detailed (ha!) planning on Daddy's part, the six of us (and our canine companions Sugar and Mesa) met at James River State Park near Gladstone, VA. Despite rain on Saturday night after we went to bed, we had a great time. I'll let the pictures do the talking...

I love our tent!!!

Ariel is enjoying her first camping trip - all ready for a hike.
Mesa enjoyed herself as well.
The view from our campsite - not bad, eh?

Random Photos

Ain't We Cute?

Know why I'm smiling???

Because now I'm feeding myself.

Well, I'm feeding myself anything that doesn't disintegrate when I squeeze it in my hands. Smushy stuff still goes in with a spoon ;-)

I'm ready to go, Mom. Hook up Sugar and "Let's Go!"

The giraffe that Mommy and Aunt Amanda used to ride on when they were kids is getting plenty of use these days. I use it to ride on (Mommy and Daddy help sometimes) and I use it to walk behind when I'm practicing standing up. I've gotten so good lately that I can even control this bucking bronco with the reins in my teeth...
