Birthday Boy

Birthday #3 was celebrated in superhero style.

After a fun day of jumping and playing, we came back to the house for some pizza and what else... more playing. Here the boys show their style in the Mixing Bowl Toss

And the ever-popular Cat Toy and Straw Race

And, just before the boys crashed in the new big boy loft bed, there was the small matter of a Lightning McQueen cake to take care of.
Happy Birthday Big Guy!

Uncle Kev and A-Rod

Uncle Kevin was more than a little tickled to find out that one of our favorite bedtime stories right now is Out of the Ballpark by Alex Rodriguez (yes, that A-Rod).

Painted Faces at Pullen Park

This year we headed down to Pullen Park to enjoy some holiday fun. Not only did they have great music (Sandbox), Santa and the Christmas train, but there was also the opportunity to have your face painted. Can you guess which superhero was popular with this guy and his best buddy?

Partying With The Elves

At this year's Evening With The Elves fundraiser at Marbles Kids Museum, there was an amazing floor show. This young blonde guy, who's elf name was Batty Tum Tums, stole the show with his ventrilo-rilla.

That's all folks! Thanks for coming and drive safely.

Brand New Big Boy Bed

Now that it's all put together, it's time to see if it holds up.

No problem, this bed from Bunk and Loft Factory is rock solid!

Thanksgiving in Atlanta

Thanksgiving in Atlanta is always a whirlwind of activities. From football in the front yard with Max...

FUMBLE!!!!

... to riding the Pink Pig

Staying entertained while in line to see Santa.

Can't wait for the big day...

Aminals!

Pondering life's great mysteries
We even got to have a close encounter with one of our all-time favorite animals, Giraffa camelopardalis reticulata

And, of course, the meerkat!

Pics From The Tampa Zoo

The boys check out the sights.

Hello Tampa!

A trip to the Tampa Zoo provided all sorts of entertainment... like flying bananas.
And galloping dragons.

And close encounters with exotic wildlife.

And flying along at the beach.
Shorts and short sleeves... you gotta love November in Florida.

Play Ball!!!

Neighborhood Nature Walk

At one of the parks near our house, there are a bunch of trails that we use for our nature walks. Especially during fall, this is a beautiful walk.

And yeah, this kid's pretty photogenic as well...

Costumed Kids

Getting big laughs with Conner and some surprise costumes (nobody knew we were putting these on in the other room - we did it all by ourselves).
Thanks to Aunt Pat, Karen, Rej, Nicole and Conner for stopping by to visit during their visit to NC. We hope you had a great time - we sure did!

Election Day

Bacchus casts his vote for Best Younger Brother.

A Haunting Good Time

Here's the crew heading out for some Trick-or-Treating.
Happy Halloween!

A Fair Bit O' Fun

NC State Food Science grad students make the best ice cream!

Carousel ride with Mommy.

Addie and Amanda swingin' around.

If you don't get tired walking all day at the Fair, you might as well run around for a while.

And once you've tired yourself out, it's time for lights-out.

Fair Thee Well

Earlier this year, we hit the NC State Fair. As usual, we didn't go just once. Addie and Carter both joined us on separate days. This year we rode on much bigger and more exciting rides.
Some rides are louder than others...
