Front Yard Fun

I think I'll call this one "Boy With Truck"
This one is called "Cute Laughing Boy With Truck".

Puppy On Vacation

Sugar enjoyed herself in South Carolina as well - especially with Cinny and Daisy to keep her company.

Bouncin' Around In SC

This past weekend we all went down to Florence, SC. We helped Uncle Stephen celebrate his last birthday before 40. While we were there, we got to do lots of fun stuff. We saw cousin Max play in his season-opener baseball game - where we got to see him make a great play at third base and hit the ball really hard!
Mommy and I bounced on the trampoline!
I showed everyone I can climb into a deck chair like a big boy (note: that's because I am a big boy).

Grandma Jean brought a beach set for me to play with. And she also gave me my first set of golf clubs (she gets half my winnings at my first Major).
I also found a way to amuse myself this seemingly ordinary plant hanger. I get my creativity from Mommy.

More Man In Motion

If you're a man in motion, you gotta have a helmet. Mine is a fashionable yellow pillbox style helmet - watch for this one on all the skater kids next year...

Future Exotic Animal Veterinarian?

This is my buddy, Tuesday. Tuesday is a Newfoundland Pine Marten, an endagered species found in...you guessed it, Newfoundland. Check out the link for a thought-provoking quote from "Uncle Bill". As for me, I'm getting an early start on my veterinary career.
Below you'll find a short lesson on optical orientation, courtesy of Dr. B.
As you can see, the marten's eyes are more forward-looking than those of the bunny... one common difference between predator and prey.

Helping In The Yard

Once I have all my tools together, I'm ready to go.
Good old trusty sawhorses are often a guys best friend when he has work to do.
Surveying what needs to be done.
I'll just go over here and get started.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Anybody know if the Celtics are looking for a good point guard?
Hope you all had a great St. Patty's Day!

E.L.M.O.

Here it is, my dirty little secret. I may appear to be tough guy on the outside, but that little red guy from Sesame Street gets me every time. Here's to you, Elmo. Anybody got a problem with that?
I didn't think so.

Balloon!!!!!!

One of my new favorite things: BALLOONS!!!
Can't get enough of them. In fact, I always remind Mommy and Daddy when we pass by the Balloon Store. They call it Harris Teeter and we spend a lot of time there, but I'm happy to go along provided we stop at Customer Service first - I'm a customer and the service I want is a nice big yellow balloon. Luckily, they are always happy to serve. Oh, one other thing - I really like the balloons at Trader Joe's because they are biodegradeable (Daddy helped me spell that one).

Flowers in The Front Yard

After ice cream, we checked out the flowers in our front yard. Mommy and Daddy taught me how to be very gentle with the flowers. I hope they last all spring.

Sunday Bike Ride Continued

We rode our bikes up to one of our neighborhood parks.
Then we met some of our friends (Brian, Caroline and Rivers) and went for ice cream. I just love the contrasting colors of chocolate ice cream and a beige shirt...

Mmmmmmmmmm!

Sunday Bike Ride

On Sunday we got to try out our new bike and bike seat.

I like the fact that Mommy does the pedaling - having a chauffer is OK by me!

Super Saturday

Saturday started out as what some would call a bad hair day. Personally, I happen to like the top-of-the-head Alfalfa look. In any case, I like to start my day with a little light reading.
Then we move on to breakfast. A banana gets a boy going, ready for a big day.
And you need that energy when heading out for a morning run - thanks to my internal alarm clock, our family gets more done before 7am than most people do all day.
After a run, some lunch and a nap, there's nothing like a little swinging in the afternoon to get your blood going.
Hey, even an active guy needs some downtime during a busy Saturday.

New Raincoat

Got me a new raincoat and galoshes. Kinda cool, eh?

Bring on the rain!

Elmo Fan

Everybody says I got Daddy's TV-watching genes. I don't think Daddy's pants would fit me, so I'm not sure what they mean. Elmo and I sure do like watching Elmo's video in the morning after Mommy leaves for work and while Daddy finishes getting ready for work. By the way, what the heck is "work" anyway? Man, I love being a kid!
