Father's Day in South Carolina

We celebrated Father's Day last weekend in South Carolina with lots of our relatives. We had a lot of fun. There were plenty of toys to play with and lots of good things to eat. Here I am hanging out with Max and Grandpa. Here I am showing everyone what the first letter of the alphabet is (ABC is one of my favorite songs!!!).
Autumn was out of town for the weekend, but I have to thank her for several nice things. She let Mommy, Daddy, Sugar, Bacchus and me stay in her room (I tried to keep Mommy and Daddy from making too big a mess, Autie). She also left this cool picture of the sun and clouds and water and swings. I think this is one of the best pictures I have ever seen - and I even got to touch the nose and eyes on the sun!!!
What hams!

Fun in The Pool, SC Style

Grandma Jean brought a pool to South Carolina that was just my size (and just the right temperature after sitting in the sun for most of the day).
Sometimes a pool is more fun if you share it with someone.

Of course, if given the chance to go in the big pool, a boy like me is going to dive right in! Here I am showing off my hand scoops and leg kicks that we practice in swim lessons. Look out, Michael Phelps, here I come!!!
Mommy, Max, Tori and I had a lot of fun in the pool. Here I am with my chauffeurs, motoring around the pool.

Trampoline Champ

OK, I've had fun in the pool, how 'bout letting me on that trampoline?
Uncle Kevin promised me he would give me a view from way up high.
He's pretty tall, but I thought I would be able to see more from up here. I wonder if he can lift me up a little higher...
Hey, I can see my house from here!!!

Flights of Fancy

Daddy, Grandpa and I went to the RDU Airport Observation Park to watch the airplanes. Man, I love the airplanes!!!
We got to spend some real quality time watching the airplanes.

If you want to see more pictures, you can check out the ones Grandpa posted on his brand new blog.

Planes, Food and Relaxation

I've been practicing my climbing. See how good I am!

At the Crosswinds Cafe, you can get really close to the airplanes!
Daddy, Grandpa and I enjoyed a nice lunch while watching the airplanes take-off and land.

After all the airplane watching, we met Mommy for dinner. I'm always happy to eat!
After a busy day, Grandpa and I relax on the couch.

Happy Birthday, Addie!

We celebrated Addie's first birthday at Twin Falls State Park in West Virginia. Addie had a great time opening her presents!
With a little help from Aunt Amanda, Addie had those presents open in no time!
Addie was nice enough to share some of her new toys. Here I am giving the little baby a ride around the cabin. Thanks for sharing, Addie!

Let Us Eat Cake!

Thanks to Addie (and Gammy Jo), we all got to enjoy some chocolate cake! Happy 1st Birthday, Addie!!!
It's hard to tell if Addie is enjoying her cake...
Oh, wait, I think just maybe she is...
Hey Mikey, she likes it! She really, really likes it!!!
After cake, it's time to sleep...

Pool Time in The Park

Addie and I got to do some swimming during the weekend. Before one plays in the water, however, one is well advised to inspect any play toys for defects or holes.
As you can see, this one had LOTS of holes.
Yo, West Virginia State Parks Rock!
Aahhhh, quite refreshing.

Hiking at Twin Falls

On Sunday we went for a hike. Here are Amanda, Keith and Addie. They are in front of an old pioneer farm featured in the park.
Here I am with Sugar, Daddy and my Sherpa, Mommy. In case you were wondering, both Addie and I ride in style in our Sherpani Rumbas when we hike.
Here we are hiking on the Huckleberry Trail. Notice how easily Mommy tackles the uphills - she's a mountain goat, that Mommy!
What hike would be complete without a group photo?

Rainy Sunday

It's hard waking up after a long nap on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Mostly what you need to help you out is a little juice in the cup and Elmo on the TV!

If my parents can't keep current with this Blog, I guess I will have to do it myself!

You have to get creative with your climbing if you can't get outside.

Memorial Day Camping Trip

Hey! Let's get this show on the road! I'm ready for some camping!
My Momma's always trying to give me some love!

Little did my parents know that to a toddler a picnic table IS a climbing structure! In some of the pictures of our camping weekend you will see a scrape on my chin. I found out the hard way that the picnic table is not a SAFE climbing structure.

I know they hid the cookies in here somewhere!
