WV Geocaching

Addie and I got to do our first geocache together while we were in West Virginia for her birthday.
Sometimes when geocaching, you come across a wild animal. (click on the picture to enlarge if you can't tell what animal we're investigating)
Sometimes you have to look in crazy places to find a geocache.
But we perservered and we found it!
Addie and I check out the contents of the geocache.

Happy Birthday, Addie!

At the beginning of June we met Addie, Amanda, Keith and Jo at Bluestone State Park in West Virginia. We met them halfway so that we could all celebrate Addie's 2nd birthday together. Here we are celebrating...
And enjoying birthday cupcakes.
We also managed to get some exercise. A la Napoleon Dynamite, we resurrected the ancient art of tetherball.
When we weren't celebrating or sporting, we could often be found ambling about with Sugar.

Leapin' Lepidopteran

A giant butterfly was spotted recently at the Durham Museum of Life and Science. Luckily, Mommy had her camera out and snapped this photo while I tried to keep it from flying away.

Take Me Out To The Ballgame

On June 1st, we went to our first baseball game of the year (and someone's first ever...). Munching on pizza, drinking lemonade and seeing Wool E. Bull were definitely some highlights of the game. We also got to watch the grounds crew cover the field with a huge tarp... twice. After the second rain delay (a HUGE deluge) we headed home, but we still managed a few good pictures while the sun was out.

Someone didn't want to take his hat off... even at bedtime!
