Motivated For Mobility
That's because I'M CRAWLING!
I made this big advance in a very appropriate spot. Mom and Dad were at Ninth Street Active Feet to buy some new running shoes when they set me down in the changing room. Looking across the tiny room, I saw just what I needed to get myself motivated to be mobile:
A New Hat is Something to Smile About

This was supposed to be another "Look at my hat" picture, but it became instead a "Look at my teeth" picture. If you look closely, you can see them just poking through. If you are having a hard time, you might be looking in the wrong place. They aren't the two top front teeth, they are the two teeth just to the left and right of where my middle teeth should be - kinda like being a vampire - pretty cool, huh? If you still can't see them here, take my word for it, you can on the full-size picture.

Boating on Sinnissippi Lake
Here we are on Popi's pontoon boat. I like being on the boat because I like the wind in my face, the up-and-down motion of the lake, the sunshine, the fresh air and the fact that I get to wear really cool hats.

Once we were underway, and far from any other boats, Popi taught me how to steer.
I'm a very quick learner and very soon I was piloting the boat all by myself.
Wisconsin Photo Shoot
Once we arrived inWisconsin, I was informed that I was scheduled for a photo shoot. Usually I don't mind these at all, but I was a little worried when I found out that this was to be my first session without so much as a onesie on. As you can see, we started out in the pool. Luckily, the water in the pool was warm (as I was to find out later, the water in the lake is not quite so warm...).
After the pool, we changed locations. Back on dry land I felt a little more freedom to express myself. I worked on several poses that afternoon. Here's one of my favorites.
I also worked on several "Looks". I call this one "Come Hither". Whattaya think?
Flying to WI
This past week we took a trip to Wisconsin to visit the Melcher and Zuehlke sides of the family (and the Torkilsons too, of course) for the Fourth of July. Instead of driving the 16 hours up there, we took a plane and only got delayed twice - luckily, they were delays on consecutive legs of our return flight and we were able to make our connection despite the best efforts of AirTran to extend our vacation with an additional day in Atlanta. Anyway, here's an indication of how our air travel went. We usually start our flights looking like the picture above. Luckily for our fellow passengers, however, we usually spend a majority of each flight looking like this:
