Boy Breaks Board, Gains Jr. Yellow Belt

Cooper tested for his Jr. Yellow belt today in Karate.  He has been studying the history of the style of karate that he practices with the Fighting Tigers and he's been practicing his techniques as well.  All that practicing paid off today when he earned his first belt.  Enjoy.

Happy Birthday!

The youngest member of our family is celebrating his birthday today.  With a train-centric brain these days, it was only natural that Thomas play a big part in today's festivities.  To add to the excitement of the day, we'll be "riding the rails" tonight as we take an Amtrak train to dinner and then back home again.
