Good Morning, Max

Turns out my cousin Max doesn't wake up as early as I do - so I gave him a little help...

You might even say he's a little grumpy before 8am.
Luckily for me, Max doesn't stay grumpy for long. He even let me wear his Thrashers hat. Max has a lot of experience playing music and he helped me practice quite a bit during his visit. Here I am on the micro-keyboard.
And this is me showing off my cookie tin percussion skills...

After the music, I got to try out the skateboard that Max brought along for me. Thanks, Max - I had a great weekend!

Saxapahaw Slip 'n Slide

Max, Mommy, Daddy and I went to Saxapahaw and I got to Slip 'n Slide to my heart's content. We always have a great time here and Max made it even more fun!

Move That Bus!

This past Saturday morning, we went on a bus trip with our friends (Carter, John and Mary Catherine). We started near home in downtown Raleigh. We rode the bus through the city and on the highway (we went FAST!). We even got to change buses halfway!

Once we got to the mall, Carter and I went exploring. We found this fun fountain and Carter almost got to go swimming.

Water Fun in Saxapahaw

In Saxapahaw, NC, they do something called Saturdays in Saxapahaw. We went there this past Saturday and had ourselves a blast! We ate great food from the Farmer's Market, listened to great local music and played in the wet stuff! Here I am showing Mommy how to do it right on the Slip-N-Slide!!!

Carter and I then cooled off in the canoe.
And then when it started raining, Carter and I still managed to find a way to have fun.

Fun in Racine

We met up with the Torkilson clan at a park in Racine. Although they made us all sit still for pictures, we still had a lot of fun (and pizza pie!!!).

Fun in Milwaukee

We visited the Milwaukee Zoo while we were in town. While most people might show pictures of animals on their blog, I've decided to take a different "track".

Mommy, Daddy, Gammy and I had a great time on the Zoo Train!
After a long day at the zoo, it helps me relax if I read a little before bed...
